James received a parcel this morning, kindly sent by the reception staff at the Holiday Inn Leeds Brighouse.  ‘Flat Ted’ is back on James’ bed after a week long mysterious adventure in the post.

Last day of half term holiday.

ermm…  didn’t quite get the resolution I was hoping for but I’m sure there’s part of a pixel there that’s mercury.  James enjoyed using the telescope (the Great!) Uncle Fred bought him.

NB – we were very careful not to look directly at the sun or at it through the telescope without the filter.  However I did burn a small hole in the eclipse sun filter specs due to not thinking carefully enough.

In front of 200+ people, scooter riders and parents, George showed-off his scooter riding. It was brilliant to watch and we’ll be back for the next event hoping, with some practice George can beat his score.
